Flagship event by Upshot Brand Media for celebrating the spirit of womanhood - the 9th Edition of I Rise Women Conclave and Awards Event facilitated women from different walks of life for their extraordinary work/ talent/ courage or anything which has created an impact in the society.

 

The event “iRise - Celebrating Women Extraordinaire''.   March 22, 2025 was a   Celebration of Women of Madhya Pradesh, India who took up the responsibility to achieve their goals and dreams with courage to rise above the circumstances, thereby gaining respect for a healthy gender-less society.

 

iRise 2025 was conceptualized to lead women to a new paradigm of recognition that change happens from "inside out". People not only get an insight into the success stories of some ordinary women who took the world on the stride with their extraordinary flair, but take it up as an inspiration to move forward in their support.

 

The iRise Women Conclave and Awards aims to:
Recognize and honour the outstanding accomplishments of women leaders and innovators.
Provide a platform for insightful discussions and networking opportunities.
Inspire and empower the next generation of women leaders.

 


This star-studded event took place at Hotel Grand Sheraton Palace, and featured exceptional and extraordinary women achievers across 20 domains/categories. 80-100 women Achievers, business owners, professionals, Social influencers, creators & inspirational women were part of this glittering event.

 

It was flagged off by Chief Guest Shrimati Jyoti Sharma, IAS (Addl Collector, Indore) who has been the epitome of support for women empowerment. She congratulated all the women achievers and gave them motivation to keep moving forward with zealous pride and confidence. 
Jyoti M’am emphasized that family leads to empowerment since it is the foundation of ensuring that change is possible. She quoted that -  ‘I am power’ leads to ‘Empowerment’

 


Keynote Speaker Mr Amit Jarkani  (TBZ, AGM -Maharashtra and MP region) also presided over the event. Mr Jarkani talked of how impossibilities can be turned into possible. “If a woman thinks she can, then she can do it” and she believes that women should remember this. It is important to make your presence felt and show that it is the ability that matters and not the gender.

 

There was an interesting panel discussion on ‘Women Empowerment for ViksitBharat’. The speakers were:

 

Dr Mala Singh Thakur, Manager & PRO, AICSTL, Indore who shared her vision for a SMART city of Indore to show growth irrespective of gender. She quoted, “We have Pink ibuses but that doesn’t mean that as a city and society we grow separately.” Every man and woman must grow together.

 

Dr Priyanka Mokshmar - CMD Vaayu Aircon believes that women have always been pushed into creative fields and never thought about them in the technical or technology domains. She opines that it is upto us as women who are embracing change that we must bring awareness that women can be there in every field because they have the intelligence and smartness to do so.

 

Ms Ayushi Surana Agarwal - Director Sunil Agarwal and Associates shared that her family has shown the way for her as well as other women to gain financial independence and also integrate their talent into boosting their self-confidence.

 


Ms Jaya Mulwani, Asst. Vice President, BM Equitas Small Finance Bank shared that it is important to understand the societal perceptions of women in finance so that they gain better independence and are able to sustain themselves.

 

Ms Archana Parsai Gehlot, Founder of Asmakam Life University gave a glimpse of women gaining skills consciously so that they can educate their children. She emphasized that children need to be brought up in natural surroundings so that they value their life skills.

 

People are sitting up and noticing iRise Women Conclave and Awards. It is a great platform in Central India that gives women hope that they can achieve the impossible. Indian women are making a valuable impact from grassroots level to space. 20 women were awarded across various fields and categories for they showed resilience in grabbing opportunities and creating a pathway. Managing the different aspects of the job and home is not as easy as it looks. One can never estimate what a woman goes through to achieve success.

 

The highlight of the event was the awards ceremony. 20 women awardees were announced in a special way that all the women had access to not only interacting with the speakers but also getting to know about each other. These women have done amazing work in 20 diverse fields including sports, medicine, entrepreneurship, social cause, legal, wellness and out of league work among others. These women have been selected from across Madhya Pradesh and have shown exemplary contribution in their respective fields.

The event was well received and more than 100 women had participated, bringing in the diverse perspectives of their differing fields and experiences that have shaped them. 

 

Moomal Sisodia, Co-Founder & CEO of Upshot Brand Media quoted G.D Anderson and said “Feminism isn't about making women stronger. Women are already strong. It's about changing the way the world perceives that strength. It is time to see our combined strength. It is only when a woman rises that we all can rise together!”. She wrapped the event by thanking the speakers for their valuable input and congratulated the awardees.
